Meet LiquiDevil
LiquiDevil is an NFT marketplace on Ethereum.
LiquiDevil is a web3 start-up with the aim of revolutionizing the NFT market. It's an innovative and new technology that leads to unparalleled liquidity for trading NFTs.
It's an NFT AMM (automated market maker), which can price a rarity premium across all NFTs in a collection in a single pool and thus create a unified pricing curve that prevents liquidity fragmentation! This allows collections and DAOs to create deep liquidity pools and leads to collection-owned liquidity (COL), which will create other sources of revenue besides royalty.

User Testing
I started working on the LiquiDevil website in parallel with understanding the product and developing designs for the app. The first step was to start doing in-depth research about the NFT market. My job was to design a fun, interactive, user-friendly, intuitive website that resonates with the NFT industry and helps connect with collections, NFT market makers, creators, and crypto enthusiasts.
I’ve been extremely fortunate to be a part of this amazing team! Below are some of my key achievements while working on this project:
Catchy & Fun Website : Designed a visually appealing, fun, and catchy website for mobile, tablets, laptops, and desktops for users with a high recall value.
Logo Design and 3D Artwork : Apart from designing the website, I also developed multiple options for logo design and the look and feel of the brand. As I was the sole designer working on the entire project, I also developed multiple artworks, animations, and 3D artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
Created Brand Guidelines : I created a set of comprehensive brand guidelines that outline everything from color palette, typography, logo design, scaling, spacing, graphic artwork, animations, and imagery to help build a brand identity that our audience can recognize across all platforms.
The website is live, but some parts of the website will only be functional just before the launch of the product, as the website reveals the functioning of the product/app.
Background
Logo Design
I started working on designing different options for the logo with different looks and feel. As a part of brand strategy, it was really important to have a brand story. After conducting multiple brainstorming sessions with the founders, I started working on different ideas, rough sketches, layouts, and refined designs in Adobe Illustrator to ensure scalability. Presented multiple logo designs, fonts, and color options to start finalize the brand identity.
Logo Color Exploration
Visual Style Exploration
Once the logo was finalized, I started exploring different visual styles that aim to improve the product’s aesthetic appeal and usability with suitable images, background, typography, space, layout, and color.
Moving NFT Gallery
A moving gallery is designed to give many collections a platform to showcase and present their art.
Some more Animations
I designed and implemented many other animations in the website to make it look more exciting, appealing and engaging for users. I explored different effects like floating text effect, scroll trigger animation, fading effect, 3D rotating logo, loading animation, sliding card etc.. some of them are presented below

Responsive Design
Developing the designs
I designed high-fidelity mockups in Figma for a responsive website. At the start, we faced issues with developing and implementing some of the animations, but with innovative ideas, a problem-solving approach, and team efforts, we were able to find the best possible solution from a design and development perspective. It was an enlightening experience working with developers while designing the LiquiDevil website.
Results & Learnings
Due to the excellent collaboration with in the team, we were able to go live with the website. We also gained much positive and encouraging feedback from users in the NFT market. Here are some of the key learnings from this project :
First impression first : While working on a product that has not even been launched yet, it's important to focus on its first impression in the market. We, as a team, worked really hard on getting our brand's story and impression right.
Involve engineering as early as possible : While designing a fun and catchy website, we decided to implement different elements, animations, and effects to make the website look creative and engaging, but at the same time, it was challenging for developers to build it. I was able to involve the engineering team quickly and avoid a lot of rework in the process.
User testing is a continuous process : In a startup, it is extremely important to be quick and flexible with your thoughts, ideas, and solutions. It's crucial to be adaptive and make changes for the betterment of the product.
